With Easter almost here, I am in a hurry to get one last Easter kids’ craft posted. I wanted to create a large piece for spring on the wall. The other crafts we have completed for Easter (the stained-glass bunny, thumbprint sheep, eggshell chick, and hyacinths) look great, but I wanted to allow my guys to be more creative.
We came up with a plan to make a large woven Easter basket and fill it with eggs the boys could decorate any way they chose. They painted most of them and colored a few. We made a woven paper basket and some 3D grass as well. Then we put some eggs in the basket and throughout the grass.
Although this craft doesn’t include any complicated plans, we thought we would share with you how it turned out. We think it looks pretty great! We have some nice eggs in there. Even some with Iron Man, Captain America, and a deer.
I hope you all have a Happy Easter and don’t forget to check out the fun Easter Quiz on ethelruth.com tomorrow.
